Welcome 2014

Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot, and auld lang syne?

Written by Scots Poet Robert Burns in 1788, loosely translated as “for (the sake of) old times”.  We wish 2013 a warm goodbye, we excitedly welcomed the birth of Prince George and we sadly wished Nelson Mandela a peaceful goodnight.

We welcome the 14th year of the millennium and the 21st Century with open arms, the New Year gives us a brand new fresh 365 days to play with, full of hope and promise so make sure to fill them up with whatever your heart desires so that you have no regrets at the end of the year!  As Madiba himself said “May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears”.

A new moon represents fresh starts and new beginnings, today there is a new moon and the last time the two coincided was 19 years ago so let’s make it a good one!

At Shorelines of Cowes we’re sad to close the door on 2013 but very excited to welcome in 2014, this September will mark ten years since Clairey and her team took the helm at Shorelines.  We have some exciting promotions planned to mark the occasion so look out for some new suppliers, some prize giveaways and most importantly a big birthday party!
